I suppose next you'll point out that it's the Jets goalies and not the Coyotes. Geez, you people are picky. |

Simmonds needs to step up here.
Also would have liked to see Stolarz in the AZ game. Would have been able to maybe bring some energy as the team could play for the rookie.
Wouldn't mind seeing Laughton back in over Gagner in the bottom 6.
I know Mason says he is fine but to me he looked a little mentally fatigued. Fighting the puck a little. |

Mason likely is a bit fatigued, the condensed schedule along with the travel across multiple time zones aren't doing him any favors. I would look to Stolarz getting a start on 4/2 vs Ottawa. |

I think Voracek really needs to step up. I know he was injured etc... But it's time to finish off some of those opportunities. This team needs goals from him during this playoff push |

Thanks Bill. What is the status of Gagner, Weal, and Scotty L. at the end of the season? Do you think that the team will retain any of these guys? I am a little surprised at Scotty L. being scratched since he and Cuz had some chemistry. In addition, the play of V-check, and Simmer of late has been a little flat. I know that V-check is coming off of an injury, but I guess Simmer scores his points in bunches. Is there anything to update on G? I am hoping that he's ok, since going down the last game. |

Well, the (original) Jets became the Coyotes.... and now the Flyers are playing the (current) Jets after the Coyotes, sooooo by some sort of logic it was correct .

Giroux is fine, supposedly. Felt fine after the game on Saturday and no problems yesterday.
Voracek's timing has been off, which is understandable. Simmonds is a streak player offensively.
Laughton will be retained. Weal is still kind of a tweener but will get a chance in camp. Gagner is unlikely to be re-signed.

So.... should you guys lose to the Jets, would that be a "throw up the white flag and call it a season" moment for you guys after the Arizona loss? |

Bill, if the Flyers do elect to resign Weal and he doesn't make the team, will they put him on waivers? If they don't see him as part of the club going forward, I don't see the sense in keeping him unless they think they can flip him for some assets. |

No, because they'd still be within sight of Detroit, Boston, and NYI. |

Kind of feel the same way about Weal. I know he wouldn't cost much but if he isn't part of the plan do you waste the roster spot.
Also I am almost certain, unless they are terrible in camp, that Konecny and Provorov will probably be on the roster. I don't see them as having much more to do in junior and they can't play in the AHL. So that's 2 rosters spots that you have to account for. |

I think Provorov will make the jump, but I feel that Konecny will have to earn it more than Provorov. The Flyers have some big holes everywhere on the roster minus in net (WTF!?!?) but Provorov has shown that he has nothing more to prove at the WHL level, where as Konecny could go back and challenge for a scoring title. |

6-0 on CBJ style? Or does this one have the dreaded first home game after a road trip feel to it? I didnt get to watch the ARI game and it seems like that was probably a good thing - YuenglingJagr
It can be 6-0 it can be a 2-1 SO win. As long as they get 2 points without any major injuries, I'll take it. |
